Value Plays:

Leonard Fournette

Analysis: Fournette is one of my favorite backs on the slate for Week 5. With Giovani Bernard out last week, Fournette took over the 3rd down receiving back role. He caught 3 of his 5 targets for 47 yards and added another 92 yards rushing on 20 carries. If Gio is out again this week, Fournette becomes one of the top value plays on the slate. Gio is currently listed as Questionable so keep an eye on his status as we get closer to Sunday.

Antonio Brown

Analysis: I thought for sure AB’s price would be up by this point in the season, but here we are in Week 5 still getting MBC himself for just $5,200 on DraftKings and $6,500 on FanDuel. We’ve already seen a big upside game from AB this season when he caught 5 passes for 121 yards and a TD in Week 1. He also had 11 targets against the Patriots last week. AB is the true #1 WR in the Bucs offense and until the price reflects it, let’s keep playing him!

Daniel Jones

Analysis: I keep going back to Daniel Jones as a value QB and it’s gone pretty well for me so far. He’s played pretty good football so far this season and his rushing ability gives him a nice floor. Jones has scored 29+ DraftKings points in 2/4 games and hit 22 in a 3rd. He’s a pretty safe option if you’re looking to save soma salary at QB.

James Robinson

Analysis: $6k on DraftKings is just too cheap for a guy like James Robinson who’s getting as much opportunity as he is right now. Robinson has 19 and 21 touches of his last 2 games, he’s getting RedZone opportunities and he’s involved in the passing game out of the backfield. At just $6k Robinson is one of the top values on the slate.

Jakobi Meyers

Analysis: It’s not often you can get a receiver who has 26 targets over the last 2 games for just $5,600 on DraftKings, but that’s what we’re getting this week with Jakobi Meyers. Meyers is getting a ton of opportunities in this Patriots offense. He’s yet to have a TD this season, but he hasn’t really needed it. Over the last 2 games Meyers has 16 and 18 DK points without a TD. 16 to 18 DraftKings points is fine at $5,600 and when he does in up in the endzone it’s going to be a massive game for him and I think he’s a great play at this price.

Curtis Samuel

Analysis: Curtis Samuel at $3k on DraftKings is the #1 value play on the slate this week. Washington is easing him in after his groin injury. He played 37% of the snaps last week and that number should go up quite a bit this week. Samuel’s upside at $3k is massive. Just play him and build the rest of your lineup.

Jared Cook

Analysis: Cook is the best value TE on the slate. He’s getting a lot of targets for someone who’s just $3,600 on DraftKings. He caught 6 of his 7 targets for 70 yards and a TD last week. I expect Cook to continue being a top TE value until his price goes up.
