Core Analysis:
Analysis – If you’re looking to go QB at CPTN, my preferred option is Russell Wilson. I think Wilson has a higher upside simply because the Seahawks have less of a run game than the Rams, so Russ should be passing more than Stafford. The Rams are also favorites in this game, which generally means Russell Wilson will be in more passing situations than Stafford.
I lean DK over Lockett at CPTN just because I expect the ownership to be a little lower. They’re both great plays and you can’t go wrong with either, but I think box score watchers will see Lockett’s big week 1 & 2 performances and grab him up at a lower price than DK.
My last pay up core CPTN is Darrell Henderson Jr. Henderson has been the clear cut #1 RB for the rams in the 3 games that he’s played. He’s also been pretty involved in the passing game, with 5+ targets in 2 out of his 3 games. I think Henderson is a good way to get different at the CPTN spot without having to punt all the way down.
Moving onto the Flex, I also like Stafford a lot at QB. Both of these QB’s have high floors and high ceilings. It’s one of those slates where I recommend trying to squeeze in both QB’s if you can. Right now Chris Carson is listed as Questionable. If he plays, I don’t have much interest in him because he hasnt’t been great lately and his pass game involvement has gone down. But if Carson misses the game, I do like Alex Collins a lot as a value RB option. Same goes with the Seattle TE’s. If Everett plays I like him, but if he’s out I like Dissly.
