NFL GPP Plays | Week 6

NFL GPP Plays | week 6

October 15, 2021 by Dylan Bell

Welcome to the NFL Week 6 Tournament Strategy article. Every week throughout the season I will be going over my favorite tournament plays and chalk pivot strategies.

Week 6 GPP Plays:

Joe Burrow, QB

DK: $6,300 | FD: $7,400

Analysis: Joe Burrow is going overlooked in a great matchup against the Lions. Everyone is either going to be paying up for Mahomes, Jackson or Herbert or paying down for Heinicke. Burrow is at a no mans land price and I think his ownership will be very low. It’s worth taking a GPP shot on Burrow and maybe pairing him with Jamar Chase against the Lions, who have been horrible against the deep ball this season.

D'Andre Swift, RB

DK: $6,300 | FD: $7,100

Analysis: D’Andre Swift is a guy who angers me a lot. I manage to be on Swift for all of his duds, and off of him for all of his big games. With that being said, Swift is a guy that you have to consider in tournaments week-to-week. He has 6+ targets in 4/5 games this season and the upside for him in the passing game is massive. His workload is trending up so that does relieve some of my hesitancy in playing him.

DJ Moore, WR

DK: $7,300 | FD: $7,600

Analysis: I like DJ Moore a lot in tournaments this week. I think his ownership will be low for multiple reasons. Firstly, he let a lot of people down last week. He put up just 8.8 DK points last week and I think that scares a lot of box score watchers off of him. I also don’t see a lot of people playing Sam Darnold this week, and because of how important stacking is, that will naturally bring down Moore’s ownership as well. DJ Moore is still a guy who has 11+ targets in 3/5 games this season. He’s already shown massive upside with a 34 DK point performance in week 4. This feels like a nice opportunity to grab DJ Moore at low ownership in GPP’s.

Terry McLaurin, WR

DK: $7,100 | FD: $7,400

Analysis: I’m loving Scary Terry against the 32nd ranked Chiefs secondary this week. Terry has 2 games this season already with 30+ DraftKings points. He has 3 games already with 11-14 targets. The game script is in McLaurin’s favor. Wasington should be trailing and passing the ball a lot. This week could easily be another 30+ fantasy point ceiling performance for McLaurin in a great matchup vs the Chiefs.
