NBA Premium Package | 10/25
NBA Premium | 10/25
October 25, 2021 by Dylan Bell
Welcome to the NBA Premium Package for 10/25/21. I’ll be doing the NBA Package Monday through Thursday while the NFL is still in-season. It will include my core plays cheat sheet, my value player pool, my tournament player pool and player analysis. This page will be updated throughout the day up until slate lock, so make sure you stay updated! Things change a lot in NBA DFS.
10/25 Core Sheet:
Core Notes:
• Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis, high total game, small spread. That’s all that matters. Giannis is always going to be a top play on every slate. The only problem is always blowout risk with the Bucks, but this game has a spread of 3 points and I expect both of these teams to stay competitive.
• Ricky Rubio
Rubio is only a core play for me if Darius Garland is out again.
Value Plays:
• Montrezl Harrell
Harrell has been getting good minutes so far this season. I expect at least 25 minutes for him in this game. He’s a great point-per-minute guy when he’s on the court and when he sees extended minutes like he did last game up into 30’s, he has massive upside at this price tag.
• Precious Achiuwa
Achiuwa got a little price bump but it’s still not a high enough price to get me off of him. His minutes have gone up every game this season and he had back-to-back double-doubles. He’s a good point-per-minute guy and if he keeps getting minutes like he has over the last 2 games then he will easily pay off this price tag.
• Devonte’ Graham
Graham has played well for the most part this season. He is coming off of a down game where he shot 2/14, but he’s played well in the other 2 games this season. He’s getting 30-35 minutes and he’s a guy that get hot and put up a big score. I like him as a tournaments value in this one.
• Will Barton
Barton has been playing great basketball this season. He has put up 30+ DK points in each of the first 2 games. At only $5,700 on DraftKings it’s hard not to like him again. He’s getting 30+ minutes, he’s taking 13-14 shots per game and he’s putting up peripheral stats like assist and rebounds. I like Barton a lot tonight.
GPP Plays:
• Khris Middleton
Middleton is a guy I like a lot with Jrue Holiday listed as doubtful for this game. Middleton sees about a 8% usage bump with Holiday off the floor. This game should stay close meaning Middleton sees about 35 minutes of play. He’s a guy who can get really hot and show a lot of upside so I do like him in this spot vs the Pacers if Holiday is out.
• Cam Reddish
Reddish is an interesting GPP play on this slate for me. He’s been a good point-per-minute so far this season, putting up 27.25 DK points in 21 minutes and 28.9 DK points in 28 minutes. He’s shooting about 15 shots per game off the bench and if he shoots well he has nice upside at this price. I also don’t worry too much about him in blowouts because I think he still gets 4th quarter run in the case of a blowout.
• Fred VanVleet
I’m committed to FVV. He hasn’t been great to start the season but I know the type of upside this guy has, especially with Kyle Lowry gone now. He has a massive usage in this offense and it’s only a matter of time until he goes for 50+ DraftKings points. I’m playing FVV in tournaments until he pays off, and I know he will eventually.
• Jusuf Nurkic
This is a game where I think Nurkic can crush if he just stays out of foul trouble. It’s expected to be a high scoring, close game. I don’t think Zubac can stop Nurkic at all, it’s just a matter if he can stay out of foul trouble or not. I like Nurkic a lot for GPP’s.
If/Then Statements:
• Al Horford / Robert Williams
If Al Horford is out in this game I have lot of interest in Robert Williams. Williams would get more run with Horford our and has already shown his potential upside with Horford our in the first game of the season when he put up 50 DraftKings points. I like the matchup vs the Hornets a lot as well.
• B. Beal / S. Dinwiddie / K. Kuzma
Bradyley Beal is currently listed as questionable. If he is out this game then Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyle Kuzma become almost must plays. They will have all the usage in the world and be very chalky plays if Beal is out.
• Darius Garland / Ricky Rubio
If Garland is out again, I’m going right back to the well with Ricky Rubio. Rubio has 28 and 35 minutes in the 2 games Garland has missed. He’s put up 36 and 44 DK point performances. He’s shooting 12-15 times, racking up assist.. there’s a lot of reasons to love Rubio in this spot if Garland is still out.
