Game Selection

We have a few high total games to target today. MIL-PHO being the highest at a 233.5 o/u, MIL favored by 3. IND-SA sits at a 232 o/u with SA favored by 1. Then we have a couple blowout risk match ups with OKC-WAS sitting at a 230.5 o/u, WAS favored by 12, and MEM-DEN sitting at a 226 o/u, DEN favored by 7.5.

Cash Plays

Russell Westbrook ($11,000)

Westbrook is a very safe cash play every night. He’s averaging a triple-double and has the revenge narrative going for him against OKC. There’s not much else to say. Lock Russ into your cash lineup and move on.

Pistons Value

Make your pick of the Pistons value today because you’re going to need it in cash games. Isaiah Stewart, Saddiq Bey, Killian Hayes and Frank Jackson are all very good cash plays and because they will be highly owned you will need them in order to cash if they hit value.

GPP Plays

Kelly Oubre Jr. ($6,200)

Both Oubre and Curry are questionable as of writing this. If Oubre plays and Curry sits, I have a lot of GPP interest in Kelly Oubre Jr. With Curry out, Oubre would get a big usage bump and be asked to do a lot in this game. He could smash the $6,200 price tag.

Joel Embiid ($10,700)

No one is going to be able to stop Embiid in this game. He’s going to have a field day against Kevon Looney and Draymond Green defense. Embiid is one of, if not my favorite spend up on the slate. I put him as a GPP play simply because there is some blowout risk in this one. If GS can keep it close and Embiid gets full run, he’s going to smash.

Ja Morant ($7,200)

Morant has not been playing good recently but with Valanciunas out I think you have to have some exposure to him if you’re multi entering GPP’s. He’s shown big upside and gets a big usage bump with JV out.

Jordan Clarkson ($6,400)

With Mitchell out and Conley questionable, I have GPP interest in Jordan Clarkson here. I’d like him a lot more if Conley ends up sitting as well, but I think he’s playable either way. He’s going to get more opportunity with guys out and he loves putting up as many shots as he can. When his shots are hitting he can help you take down a GPP.

Jahill Okafor ($3,000)

This is a risky GPP play, but it’s the type of play that can win you a lot of money when it works out. Isaiah Stewart is going to be very highly owned, and for good reason as he’s in a great spot. We can get contrarian in tournaments by fading Stewart, playing Okafor and hoping Isaiah Stewart gets into foul trouble. He’s racked up 4 and 5 fouls in 2 of his last 3 games so it isn’t a crazy possibility. Just understand that this is a risky play that doesn’t work out most of the time.

Bargain Bin

Isaiah Stewart ($5,200)

With no Mason Plumlee, Isaih Stewart should start, see 30+ minutes and will be on eof the best plays on the slate. He’s in a smash spot at only $5,200.

Saddiq Bey ($5,300)

As I mentioned in the First Look Picks article, I’m a big fan of Saddiq Bey here with Jerami Grant and company out. He played 39 minutes last time Jerami Grant was out and put up 34 DK points. He should play around 30 minutes and have plenty of opportunity to have another big game.

Killian Hayes ($3,700)

Staying with the Pistons value here, I like Killian Hayes a lot as well. He should see mid to high 20’s minutes and the Cavs just aren’t very good. He’s one of the best values on todays slate.

Frank Jackson ($3,200)

I know, another Piston. Piston’s value is just too good to pass up on today. Frank Jackson is PG/SG eligible, should get high 20’s minutes and is only $3,200. He’s one of my favorite of the Pistons value and it’s tough to pass on him in this spot.
