NFL First Look | Week 6

Welcome to the NFL Week 6 First Look! To kick off every week throughout the season I will be going over a few players who stand out to me after a first look at the slate. Make sure you never miss the article by joining our free DFS newsletter!
Week 6 Picks:
Patrick Mahomes, QB
DK : $8,300 | FD: $9,000
Analysis: In a week where more people are down on Pat Mahomes than probably ever in his career, it feels like a great time to go right back to him in GPP’s. I’m seeing a lot of overreaction regarding Mahomes and the Chiefs, and hopefully that takes his ownership down a little bit. I don’t care if Mahomes hasn’t played up to his usual standards, I don’t care how many balls he’s thrown directly into the dirt recently and I don’t care that the Chiefs are 2-3 at 4th place in the division. If I can get Mahomes at even slightly less ownership that usual in a great matchup vs Washington, I’m going to be all over it. Let everyone else cloud their logic with recency bias. We will use it to our advantage!
Patrick Mahomes has thrown six INTs this season…

Taylor Heinicke, QB
DK : $5,800 | FD: $7,300
Analysis: Let’s stay in the same game and grab a value QB in Taylor Heinicke. As much confidence as I still have in Pat Mahomes, I can’t say the same about the Chiefs defense. They are allow A LOT of yards and points this season. Heinicke has real upside at only $5,800. We’ve already seen him hit 24, 23 and 27 DraftKings points this season, he has a lot of rushing upside and this is a 55.5 projected total game in a favorable matchup. Heinicke will probably be the best value at QB this week.
Taylor Heinicke avoids the sack and throws it in for the touchdown 👏

Ezekiel Elliott, RB
DK : $7,100 | FD: $8,300
Analysis: It’s hard not to love Zeke again this week. He’s looking great so far this season. He has 1+ TD’s in 4 straight games, he’s involved in the passing game, he’s up against the Patriots who have had one of the worst rush defenses in the league so far and the Cowboys are focused on running the ball lately. Last year before Dak got hurt, Dak had 39+ passing attempts in 4/5 games. In week 1 this season it looked like things would stay on that same track when Dak threw the ball 58 times. But now over the last 3 weeks, Dak has thrown 27 or less times in 3/4 games and Zeke has had 20+ touches in 3 straight games. Love Zeke this week!
Heck of a play by the #DallasCowboys. @EzekielElliott

Devontae Booker, RB
DK : $5,400 | FD: $5,900
Analysis: Devontae Booker is going to be the chalk value at RB this week with Saquon Barkley out. He came in after Barkley’s injury this week and had 20 opportunities, 16 carries and 4 targets. I think he’s a really good value for as long as Saquon is out, assuming his price doesn’t go up too far.
Ricky Seals-Jones, TE
DK : $3,000 | FD: $5,000
Analysis: Ricky Seals-Jones is still filling in for Logan Thomas. Washington loves using their TE’s and that hasn’t changed just because Thomas is out. Seals-Jones seen 8 targets in week 5 for a 20% target share. It’s really hard to find a $3,000 player getting targeted as much as RSJ right now. He’s an easy plug-and-play in my opinion.

Noah Fant (87.5%)
Dawson Knox (82.8%)
Darren Waller (80%)
C.J. Uzomah (79.1%)
Ricky Seals-Jones (77.1%)
Tyler Higbee (76.3%)
Kyle Pitts (76.1%)
Keenan Allen, WR
DK : $6,400 | FD: $7,100
Analysis: Even with the emergence of Mike Williams, who seems to go off every week at this point, Allen is still seeing a lot of targets every week. He has a total of 53 targets in 5 games and his price is going down. At almost $2k less than Williams, I’m a big fan of going back to Keenan Allen this week. He’s doing enough to not kill you, and once he finally gets into the endzone again in one of these games he’s going to pay off a salary like this big time.
JUSTIN HERBERT DIME TO KEENAN ALLEN 🍿
