NFL Core Plays | Week 6

Welcome to the NFL Week 6 Core Plays Cheat Sheet. I will be going over my personal core plays and giving some player analysis on them for every week throughout the season. These are the players I’m building my lineups around.
Week 6 Core Sheet:
Core Analysis:
QB – Pat Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are by far my favorite QB’s this week. They have the most upside when you stack them up. I’m probably going to have equal exposure to both, so it’s hard picking one over the other. Taylor Heinicke is the best value QB on the slate if you’re looking to pay down. It’s a good matchup vs KC and he has some nice stacking options as well. And finally, Matthew Stafford is a guy I like if you’re looking to get a little different at QB. He’s playing good, it’s a good matchup and there’s a lot of game stacking options with Kupp and Giants receivers like Sterling Shepard.
RB – Austin Ekeler is one of the best RB’s on every slate. It’s a really high total game against Baltimore and he should get a lot of work. He will more than likely find himself in the endzone at least once in this one. Zeke Elliott is my personal favorite RB play on the slate. The Pats have been bad against the run and Zeke is playing great. I think the Cowboys handle the Pats pretty easily and Zeke gets a big workload. D’Andre Swift and Darrell Henderson are 2 guys who should just see a large workload in their offenses. I’m expecting them both to see a lot of opportunities. Kareem Hunt is the major chalk at RB and for good reason. He’s filling in for Nick Chubb behind the best rushing offensive line in the league. Expect a big game from Hunt for sure.
WR – The top few guys at WR are obvious plays that I don’t have to touch on much. DeAndre Hopkins is a sneaky top WR play in my opinion. Not a lot of people are playing Kyler Murray and that is keeping the ownership on Hopkins pretty low as well. I could see this Cardinals Browns game shooting out so I think it’s worth having some exposure to Hopkins. Marquise Brown, Tee Higgins and Sterling Shepard are all just way too cheap. They’re fantastic plays at their prices.
TE – Kelce and Andrews are the obvious top pay ups at TE. If I had to pick one I’d go Mark Andrews because he’s just too cheap and we always love saving some salary at TE. Ricky Seals-Jones is going to be the major chalk for paying down at TE. He’s a great play filling in as the starting TE for Logan Thomas. He seen 8 targets in his first start last week and I expect more of the same. If you want to get off the chalk TE I think Mo Alie-Cox is a good way to do it. He’s only $100, he’s been getting a decent work load in the Colts offense recently for the price and he has a similar projection to RSJ and much lower ownership.
D/ST – I’m a big fan of the Ezekiel Elliott + Cowboys DST stack this week. The Cowboys defense has been very stingy all season. They have 2 INT’s in every single game so far and they’re up against a rookie QB in Mac Jones who has just as many INT’s as TD’s so far in his rookie year. The Patriots offense also just isn’t very good at all, scoring more than 17 points in just 2 out of 5 games so far this season.
